Avoid Entering Username And Password When Opening Outlook Using RPC Over HTTP
A few days ago I wrote about how to setup Outlook using RPC Over HTTP Setup Outlook with RPC Over HTTP one of the things I mentioned on the article was to setup the Proxy Authentication Settings to use Basic Authentication. but as you might have noticed, when you setup RPC over HTTP to use basic authentication is that every time you open Outlook it asks you for a username and password. that is logical if you are using a computer on a different domain as the exchange server, but if you are logged on on the same domain, it should not ask for credentials. to have Outlook not asking for a username and password, you should setup NTLM Authentication under Proxy Authentication Settings.

That should save you a few seconds when opening outlook on your computer.
