How to do Anonymous Web Surfing
If for some business or personal needs you need to browse the Internet anonymously without leaving any trace like ,cookies, downloaded files history, disk cache saved form information, sending of referrerHeader, recently closed tabs list etc. you might be glad to know that there is a Firefox plugin to do that. also Google Chrome browser has a built-in feature called incognito which accomplish the same thing, but lets talk about the Firefox plug-in first.
Stealther is a Firefox plugin that let you browse the web anonymously, ya know, like when you want to watch some porn (:> if you are using a business or public computer is pretty obvious that a computer savvy person probably will go through checking the history, temporary internet files, downloaded files etc on those computers and will find out what you do online, that’s why you need to browse in stealth or incognito mode, or like many people call it – the porn mode. to do that download the plugin for Firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1306 and install it, that should be pretty simple. once you restart Firefox, the plugin should show up just underneath the Tools menu on your Firefox browser:
once you click on the Stealther plugin it turns Firefox into an anonymous browser, so you wont be able to login to any online service that requires cookies, and other type of tracking technology that identify you online, like email accounts, back accounts etc.
You can also choose what to disable or allow on the plugin by going to the extensions options. click on Tools, then choose Add-ons , the look for the Stealther plugin and click on Options:
the Stealther options window will pop-up:
from here you can choose what to disable or allow by checking or unchecking the options.
Now if for some reason you don’t like Firefox, then you should download Google Chrome. in Google Chrome you don’t need any plugin just download it, and from the menu click on the wrench icon and click on New Incognito Window:
that should pop-up a new window totally anonymous on your browser. happy anonymous web browsing, boy.
