Windows Phone 7 got Netflix, the iPhone got Netflix, and what’s up with Android? the most popular mobile operating system in the US was left out. and the reason according to Netflix blog, Android is not secure enough and thus can lead to their content piracy. did I mention Windows Phone 7 got it first?
according to a Netflix developer, Android lack of security has made it very difficult to secure a common Digital Rights Management (DRM) system for android devices, and mayor studios refuse to share their content if all those securities are not in place. they say that probably early next year we should see some android devices able to stream movies and videos from Netflix, not all devices, just those that have been patched with content protection.
well, I understand the variety of android ROM versions and MODs out of there probably make it difficult to deploy their product, but claiming android is less secure than Windows phone 7 is lame. they really need to find something else to blame to justify their android app deploy delay.
I heard about the good prices netflix has. I am glad that they have this program. I believe they are helping people a lot. They are the best. Cabinet stomatologic Romania
