Open Microsoft Office 2007 files on Firefox With OpenXML Viewer
Microsoft Office 2007 new XML format has created many problems when people try to open those files with an older office suite or any other document viewer that before was compatible with office. now, you don’t even need an office suite on your computer to view XML files, you only need the OpenXML plugin for Firefox. download OPenXML for windows here and save it to your desktop.
Extract the zip file to your local folder.
The zip file contains the Readme.txt, the License.txt file and the Firefox extension installer OpenXMLViewer _ win _ firefox.xpi.
Open the .xpi file using firefox. The codesigned plugin information is displayed on the screen, signed against MindTree Limited.
click on Install Now.
Once the plugin is installed, Firefox prompts for a restart. Restart Firefox as prompted.
Once Firefox is restarted, navigate to Tools>Add-Ons. In the extensions tab, OpenXMLViewer should be visible.
